This is the first public beta release of the new Login VSI 3.0. In this Beta3 release the Login VSI workload is considerably improved and the Login VSI Analyzer is now much more intelligent than the Excel sheet used in the previous 2.x releases. There are no major functional changes planned to both the Login VSI workload and the Analyzer (apart from smaller optimizations and bugfixes) for the official VSI 3.0 release.
Citrix released a whitepaper that helps customers to use Login VSI to thoroughly test XenDesktop. The worldwide consulting team of Citrix that created this whitepaper is using Login VSI as their tool of choice to run all sorts of tests against their product to advise Citrix' customers. The XenDesktop development team is also actively using the possibilities of Login VSI to stress not only XenDesktop but also stress Login VSI to its max by initiating more than 5000 sessions in a few minutes.
