Testing Connectors Via Command Line

This document describes how to test out Connectors using the command line for troubleshooting purposes.

Note: In most cases you will want to run these commands via the cmd.exe program on your launcher machine.


VMware Horizon View

This is what the command line in the Login VSI Management Console looks like using the VMWare Horizon Connector VSI VWMare View.jpeg


So now we want to manually test out the command line. I suggest you copy and paste the command line from VSI into notepad, make the changes, then paste the new command line into CMD.exe Since we are running this manually you will need to fill in the variables, as highlighted, also make sure to remove -nonInteractive.

Microsoft RDS Connection

This is what the command line in the Login VSI Management Console looks like using the Microsoft RDP Connection Connector

So now we want to manually test out the command line. I suggest you copy and paste the command line from VSI into notepad, make the changes, then paste the new command line into CMD.exe Since we are running this manually you will need to fill in the variables, as highlighted.

You can also manually test out RDP using (mstsc.exe)

Citrix Storefront

So now we want to manually test out the command line. I suggest you copy and paste the command line from VSI into notepad, make the changes, then paste the new command line into CMD.exe Since we are running this manually you will need to fill in the variables, as highlighted.
