The Security plugin enables the creation and nesting of AD groups and setting security on files and folders.

Collection Settings

These are the settings that can be configured on a collection level.

Settings	Description
Enable security plugin	Determines if the plugin is enabled for the collection
Auto create primary groups	Determines if primary groups for the packages are automatically created in AD/local computer
Groups prefix	the prefix to add to each security group
Groups suffix	the suffix to add to each security group
Groups description	the description to set for the security groups
Group scope	The scope to use for creating groups
Security groups OU path	The location in AD where to create the security groups

Package Settings

These are the settings that can be configured on a package level.

Settings	Description
Enable security actions	Determines if the plugin actions are enabled for the package
Autosecure install folder	Determines if the installation folder (Software install location from the general settings plugin) will be automatically secured using the package primary group
Autocreate primary group	Determines if the primary group is created for this package

Note 1: The install folder and primary group are properties that can be configured on the General Settings plugin.

Note 2: The pre and suffix that are configured on a collection level are automatically added to the primary group during processing of the runtime.
